Hello, my name is Sarah.

I'm a wife, fur-mom, full-time banker and aspiring balloon lady. But, I am not a traditional athlete.  I have been overweight my entire life.  I started running in 2014 after having bariatric surgery.  My current weight loss total is over 140 pounds.  Originally, I only wanted an activity that would help with my long term weight-loss success.  What I found was a passion for running, swimming and yoga.  I love seeing my body become stronger and more capable than I ever imagined was possible. This blog is part of my search for a lifetime of health and wellness that follows all of my "athletic endeavors".
